Mam Tor is a 517 m hill near Castleton in the High Peak of Derbyshire only about 15 mins drive from Peak Dale.. There are many walks from the National Trust 'Mam Nick' car park, grid ref: SK123832. The views from the top are amazing and it's a very easy walk to the summit. The National trust web site  gives you full details of a lovely 3 mile, dog friendly circular walk from the car park.
